Reaching your asana goals: patience is everything

A unwavering desire,quite determination and lots of patience is required in your yoga journey. Its not a competition and most importantly has to practiced safely and listening and honoring your body. Understanding that its a personal journey into your inner self.

Remembering that the two most important things in your practice are the quality of your breath and integrating the body, breath and the mind. The mind should be anchored to the breath and has to be totally present in the moment. As sage Patanjali quotes in his second sutra ( aphorism) " Yogah Chitta Vritti Nirodah", Yoga is quietening the fluctuation or waves in the mind stuff. Deep conscious breathing,slow deliberate movements with total awareness is the key.
